RE: Pics of my new daily driver
I just got to work and cross referenced the motor and the only thing the 2.4L motor in the summit was used in the 1993-1994 B8/B9 Eagle Colt, Colt Vista, Summit, and Summit wagon. It was not used in any other Chrysler vehicle (not sure about mitsu though)

Yeah, they are fast... lol, and horrible! I agree that they had a lot of potential... aren't many turbo'd, all wheel drive cars out there, that can be had for so cheap! But my god, they are terrible... door sag, interior is BS, chasing leaks... then you have the not so common transferfase lockup, crank walk (in the newer ones)... but yes, the overall build quality is hovering around Yugo levels.
I won't lie, I had a ton of fun in my TSi... when I wasn't fixing it.

Haha, BMW interiors are fugly!
And the door sag is when the doors sag, when open... so when you close them, the door catches the front fender, and you've toasted the paint on both the door, and the fender! SWEET! Happened on both my doors, and many MANY other talons. At one point, I was trapped inside my car... I had to force the door open, and it did quite a number on the fender.
Looks like this guy MIGHT have the door sag issue on the passenger side.
But yes, they are fast as jesus... I know a guy who puts 576 hp to the ground in his talon -- using an older 2.5L evo block.
But, they are garbage as far as quality goes... I drive an audi, obviousy I am gonna be the type of guy that appreciates quality.
The talon has NOTHING to offer, other than performance. And it doesnt perform when it's broken down. lol
Sorry about this pic's size... but you can see the door/fender damage in this one. I don't have any close-ups of the damage, as I was trying to sell the POS.
