Well if you're so confident that revving your engine at someone at a stop light isn't an attempt to initiate a race, try revving your engine at a cop next time and tell him the same thing you're telling us.

You = Ricer = Dumb @$$!

And Reapers statement was great and had a very good point. Youve just had some bad ideas and should never be saying **** about ricers when you yourself are indeed one. Thats your lesson of the day buddy

No, that was the race taking place. Why did the race take place? Something had to happen to cause us both to downshift and go WOT, so what was it?

*edit: and just so you know, I've lost one of these types of arguments out of several hundred, and that was to trustdestruction. You're not going to win this one, just thought I'd give you a heads-up.

OK, If I'm ever at the track, I'll just downshift into neutral and rev my engine, apparantly that's what I'm there to do =].

No, at a track, you're there to race. However, tracks have these wonderful things commonly referred to as "christmas trees", which count down to green, meaning start the race. You see, at a track, that's why the race starts; green means "go".

Oh, and in your automatic you can't downshift into anything. You can move the gear selector to neutral, telling the transmission to remove pressure from the clutch packs, but the transmission is actually shifting. In a manual, you apply a physical input (moving the shifter), which in turn manipulates shift forks, physically putting the car in one gear or the other.

You're actually making no sense whatsoever. You see, part of arguing your point is making sure the other party actually understands what you're arguing.

At a track, you're racing. That's because the christmas tree lit its way down to green, signaling for the race to start.

On the street, the only thing that can incite a street race is one or both of the drivers doing something to communicate to the other driver that he wants to race. The two most common ways to do this are to beep three times or to rev your engine.

In other words, you're a stupid ricer and you tried to instigate a street race by revving. You don't have much of a point to argue.

My argument is that I have done nothing to be a ricer, I have not done any ricer modifications, and I have never tried to race a car, I was just in it for the lulz, and I got them.
