Are people who drive hondas "Friends" Or "Enemies?"

You're all ricers. Every one of you honda owners.

I consider every civic driver I see a ricer.

To me there is four major kinds of civic drivers that I can observe. Those who like them, take car of them, and improve them without ricing them out; those who just drive them; those of the breed of ricer (supposedly they're human, I have yet to see proof of this claim); and those who actually race them without ricing.
And on a somewhat unrelated note, I pulled up next to ricer today at a redlight, started to rev my engine like I wanted to race him, and as soon as it turned green he stomped it. He was too busy accelerating to notice the oncoming light turn yellow, and he ran a red light, right in front of a sheriff. I just idled to the light.

s2000 owners/drivers are generally older. i have yet to see one "riced" out but when i do pass by i usually just get a friendly wave
my civic on the other hand, don't know why but people never try to race me lol, even with my obnoxious green wheels on

I consider most other Honda/Acura owners friends... it is friendly competition. I go out on Fridays and Saturdays sometimes to cruise, you meet some pretty cool people and a lot of helpful people. It gets you known and it works out well when you know the big people in your area and can get help or discounts!
A lot of people try to race me when I'm out... but then again I don't baby my car all day. And a lot of people know who I am since I'm out drivin or hanging out a lot.
And people race to prove that they are better and to show off what they have. I'm not going to lie and say I never race or I don't, I understand there consequences so don't yell at me over the interwebs how dumb I am. I don't do it often with this slow D, although it can do work. And I'm not swapping my engine this summer for mpg or whatever, doing it obviously for the speed and somethin to show.

Apoplectic1: Dude stfu, u say "oh dont street race cause its dangerous and only ricers do it" yada yada yada and then tell us a story about how u tried to get a "ricer" to race you today and he got pulled over for it while u totally just f@cked around with him...thats a prety big douchebag (and ricey) move if u ask me. Oh but then you say some **** about ricers ??? you outta everyone on this forum have no room to talk about not being a ricer. You wanna put altezza's on ur ride, white wall tires, and god only knos what else.
ThebBlackpearl: Yea most of the s2000's around here arent riced out with a ugly @$$ body kit or nothin but one of em is and he gets no respect haha kinda funny actually since his car has a nice K20 in it but still..
Scott: I agree with ur first statement mann lol most civic owners are pretty nice and (around here anyway) dont try to race u unless they think theire eg is that bad @$$ with its ebay body kit, stickers all over it, and with its fake Si badge on it lol so basically ricers are the only d-bag, "enemy," civic owners haha

We've got some pretty beasty Civics around me, guy with type r yellow ek hatch, cf hood, HAD a type r in it, now has a k20. There's a shop that has a street legal 9 sec Civic, and they are cool people. They don't sit there and talk down to you about your car.
Now dsm.... that's a real enemy.

I know with my old accord it's because it's different and you never see these on the road anymore, I ignore the street racer boys, I have to much work in my car to wrap it around a light pole because of some childish street race, what does it prove anyway? if you want validation go to the track and prove how fast you are, most of the people being ricers in civics won't go, because they know they will probably get their *** handed to them, a stock engine, automatic transmission, fart can, and 500 stickers does not a fast car make. If people point and honk at my civic, I go back to see what fell off
