Osama is dead!

Good to see there are some people with some sense left. Facebook is full of "YEEE-HAW, we killed that ****er!"
When, in reality, this hasn't solved a thing. Everyone that followed him and believed in what he preached will continue to do his work. We've spent 10 years (nearly half my existence) hunting this man. Thousands of soldiers have died.
We've gotten Sadam. We've killed Osama. But you can't KILL terrorism. You can only make more terrorists; more martyrs and the justifications for them. The real war on terror is PEACE.

All groups..weather it's terrorists, gangs, an army, protesters, or even a colony of bees will always find someone else to be a leader if they have enough followers.....So terrorists might not have a head leader now..but a few years from now I can just see it on ABC news....
"There's a New so-called leader of the terrorist group al-qaeda in the middle east, he has proclaimed he is the new leader, and also claims he has 100 million followers around the world. The White House cannot authenticate if he is the true leader, nor can they say he has done anything to threaten the Western world, but they will keep an eye on his & his group's activities over the next few months."
Yeah.....the future...

Saddam is irrelevant.
Iraq war ≠ "war on terror"
I agree with most of what else you said though. Just wanted to point that out since so many people seem to think that the Iraq war is related to 9/11 (probably due to George Bush's failure to acknowledge that the war on terror is more important and instead swiftly focusing our attention to Iraq within just a couple of years).
However, I will disagree that it "hasn't solved a thing". Osama bin Laden was the mastermind behind it all and the leader of his insane beliefs. Without the leader, things are more prone to crumbling. Look at Hitler for example. ****'s aren't so much a problem anymore. Bin Laden was kind of an evil genius, if you will, and without him al Qaida is weaker as an organization. Only time will tell the rest.
