Default Octane Booster

Has anyone ever tried any sort of octane booster. Does it help as much as advertised?

I only use it for track days so it it gets mixed in with my fuel all day and by the time I hit the track its already pumpn through the fuel system. It only helps out a little bit.

most of it is crap, but Ive found one that seems to work as advertised. I am trying to find someone to do actual tests on it to see, but all of my testing has shown real gains with it. Its called Torco Accelerator. a 32oz bottle raises 20 gallons of 93 octane to about 97, 10 gallons to over 100, and 5 gallons to (i think) 107. Ill post some pics of the label when my next shipment comes in here in a day or two. most of it is a scam though, but I believe in this stuff.

i use outlaw booster in the V8 car, and sometimes in the RT..i have also used outlaw sport compact stuff, which is a cleaner and booster. also, i have had luck, and known several others, who like lucas stuff, but i think that its a cleaner...

If you read the fine print on most of them bottles, it says it will raise it less than 1 point per a bottle--so basically its not worth it. Cheaper to run racing fuel than buy that crap---Dave
