moderators please hold ur comments about being in the wrong section i need some urgent help ... my integra stalled on my half way to walmart as i was getting on the 5 mile stretch of highway.. well i got some oil and put in it.. then it drove to walmart fine.. my friend was following me and said i was burning some oil but not too much.. got to walmart and went inside.. car was fine.. then i came outside to find my car wont start at all.. and now the oil dipstick is like.. an inch over the full line.. all i get is an oil pressure light and a dead non turning over car... any help... no cels...

 

Chances are it has nothing to do with oil. Check for the 3 things needed for combustion. Fuel, Air and Spark. Test the coil. Probably the cause, but who knows. Is the fuel pump turning on? Are injectors working:? How do the plugs look? How do the plugs look? Did you even pull them? I thought youd look for those things yourself man........Relax, sleep on it and check it out in the AM. Looking at it now is useless, as youre so psyched up you wouldnt be able to fix it even if you knew what was wrong with it.

 

i pulled plugs i pulled dizzy.. the coil is brand new.. ill try to swap it out again tomorrow i have to get a resistor for my external one then ill hook that up maybe that will work better.. i dunno..

yes i did check for air spark and fuel.. fuel pump primes.. air seemed ok... minus the fact that i think the gas pedal stopped working...

 

the 3 things needed for combustion are spark, air/fuel mix, and compression without compression it would just bea little fire with no real power

 

you can manually pull on the throttle cable in the engine bay, if you think the gas pedal isn't working

 

ecu problems? thats what i am thinking

 

if nothing else, ccheck your ecu fuse

 

seee i checked all that stuff.. and nothing was bad.. the car started right up and drove back to base.. but its smoking really bad .. from the exhaust.. any suggestions?

 

well if the oil is overfilled its just as bad as not enough oil! DRAIN THAT OIL and put it to the right level ASAP!!!!!!

and NEVER just put oil in he car without checking how much oil is IN the motor first!!!!!!! my brother did that in his s10 and it smoked REALY BAD... cause the oil is being forced around the oil rings which gunks up the plugs realy fast!

im a step ahead.. i drained out the oil and put brand new stuff in. which sucks cause i just changed my oil like.. 5 months ago and the car hasnt been driven since then.. soo the oil comming out of the car was almost clear!
