Some of my DSM friends love to destroke their 2.0 motors to 1.9s. Now we have identical engines, only one has been destroked, the 1.9 is quite a bit quicker then the stock 2.0. SO having 2 identical engines and setups the bigger one is not always faster.

By no means am I saying bigger displacement is worthless. If you ever ask me what haonda engine you should work with, B16A2 or B18C1. I will always tell you the B18 because it is so much easier to get power out of being bigger. If you decide to go with the B16 though, there are many many ways to make it faster then the B18.

I am a fan of displacement. Hell, I drive a 2.0. thats the biggest motor I have ever owned in a car. I still am amazed at the amount of power my car puts out and dont see the need for a big V8. I have many friends with V8 mustangs over doubling my dis and my car puts lengths on almost all of them. My car is my replacement for displacement.
