i think it's gorgeous, i like the new lines to it. as for the rebaged G35 they're going to call the skyline, in the words of rick james "I wish i had more hands, so i could give those ******* four thumbs down!"

every concept that i have seen of the american release model is like this one, a rounded off version of the R34...i think that in japan nissan just slapped the skyline badges on the infinity of the us because they needed something to tide the skyline name over until the car for us release is offered.

No, the G35 we have here is a Skyline. Exactly a Skyline.

They have to change the name though because Americal loves to be better then their neighbor. When people have money they cant drive a Honda anymore, or even a Nissan or Toyota, thats why we have Acura, Infiniti and Lexus. The names change alot too, like the RSX, its still an Integra in Jap land, just like the G35 is a Skyline, just over here. There is no Acura, LExus or Infiniti in Japan, only here.

my point is that the current skyline is nothing like any skyline in the last what, 15 years?

the only thing here that has something in common with older skylines are those round tail lights. G35 was the only one that did not have them
