NFS: Pro Street - Anybody?

RE: NFS: Pro Street - Anybody?
rented it for PS2... my first impression is it is the worst half assed piece of crap since Carbon lol. actually so far i think i like Carbon better then this.,... But i want to play the 360 or PS3 version before giving a final verdict.
Cons
-graphics suck
-Menu system sucks
-Doesn't really tell you anything on how to modify the car, took me an hour before i finally found out that i was able to buy cars and modify them, i thought it was something that was unlocked, cause there was nothing about a garage at the first.
-handling isn't very good
Pros
-Have yet to find one

Been playing it on my PC, and I still think that Underground 2 was the last good one.
drifting since carbon came round sucks, no matter what i keep seeing the car steer itself(yes i'm playing on "king" setting).
and yeah the one and only pro for the game is that I can make a civic like mine IRL
just thought of another one, you can actually show damage on the car finally!
downsides are, No free roam, "upgrades" are modest(ie you pick a tier and go), and make it sound like your just slapping stickers on to go faster(ie no motor swaps, etc.) it occasionally ignores my wired keyboard's buttons when i press them(steering) you hafta double tap brake to reverse(soo annoying), the game has started to take more and more control over your driving, soon it will be push a button for what place you'd like to end up, theres a strong love for Nissans in this game(the physics are weighted towards them being better IMO). somethin tells me that EA is affraid of bad PR w/ connotations of street racing(they should be more like rockstar)... theres probly some more downsides to it but i've not tried all the cars, nor am I more than possibly 25-30% completed.
glad I didn't buy this one or carbon.

Wow, I totally forgot that was just like The Fast and The Furious...
You guys watch too much TFTF.
That's not how my ps2 graphics look^
The more I played the more I realized that I liked Most Wanted better. I still have to beat this though, I've beat all the others.
What really sucks, is that if you want to just dick around and not play Career mode, you really can't. Or you have to take like 10 minutes to set up a "race day" and pick out what car you want for each kind of race and blah blah blah. I guess I shouldn't make reviews 15 minutes into playing.

Well i knoq i will be playing this quite a bit probably, cause i am staying at my sisters house this week, housesitting. she has no ps2 or xbox, no games, and her comptuer can't handle good games. but does have full digital cable, so if i can't find anything good on the 400+ channels, and i get bored of this game, chances are... i will just read a book *shudders* lol
