Default new job interview... i cannt wait ;)

i can't wait to quit my current weak job.LOL kitchen work been there 8 years TO LONG at that...

my neighbors across the street from me (two brothers that both work for the city) asked if id be interested in the job.... he works for the city brownsburg street division. more pay, good insurance, retirement and id think most holidays off.

turned in the application and ruffly 2weeks later (last Friday) i got a call for a interview TUESDAY 2:30pm

I AM VERY HAPPY!!!!!! I REALLY REALLY HOPE I GET THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!
im so ready for a change! sounds like a great job with great benefits!

best part of it all new people.... more money...... always a different job.... the pay for my CDL training (driven the snow plows in the winter )
i cannt wait to quit my current job! for that last year ive been hating it more and more every day. little things building up on my nerves!
and the last week has really got on my nerves bad! first off our place got sold and the old company shorted EVERYONE one days pay off our checks and no one seems to know when we will get that money. needless to say everyone is pissed about that!!!
plus i just found out that a guy thats only been with the company that words part time gets paid 9.50 and he said he was suposed to be getting 10.50
and i also found out another part time weekend cashier she gets paid 9bucks an hour... and ive worked there for 8 years now! and i only get paid 9.10 an hour. and thats really got me pissed off lately.....

so if the city street job says WHEN CAN YOU START...... im gonna say TOMORROW and quite my old job ASAP! only downfall will be i lose 2weeks PTO. but the way i see it. it will be worth the switch to lose that 500bucks since ill make that quick enough!
new job is in town so ill spend at least half in fuel to get to work. and get paid more! and better everything!
I AM REALLY EXCITED!!!!!!!!!

ive been staying up late since friday with stuff just running thru my head making me not be able to go to sleep.LOL
ive got my fingers crossed that the interview goes well and that i would get the job!

and like everyone else.... more money means more mods on my rides!

Haha im in the same position as you. Ive been in my job for almost 9 years and theres people that get paid almost as much as me and have been there 2 years (damn minimum wage raising crap, and none to the already employed) I recently started doing valet to a night club just to get more money. Im trying to get my CDL license too (class a)

Good luck with the new job. I used to work at taco bell, and being in any food business' kitchen sucks.

Good luck!

I'm trying to get on with my city too.

The pay and benefits are awesome. I've been at my job for a little over a year and it sucks. Lol I'm at a stocker for a small grocery store, making $6.65. I hate everyone at the store also lol.

I need more money to work on my car, and pay for internet, and for my apartment rent, and utilities. Minimum wage sucks, but it sure can get the job done.

thats pretty sweet man, good luck with it.

although, i find that even though i make more this summer than i did last summer, i still have no money haha. its like the more i make the more bills i have, and my car still sits unpainted with primer everywhere. then again the 13k tuition bill staring me in the face every year doesnt help that situation.

but good luck with the job, it will be sweet to work in a new environment for sure.

well what you guys think?
opinions requested....
buttoned all the way up, no buttons, half buttoned

i got some light brown paints as well, and some timberland steel toe work boots. i want to make a good impression! hell spent about 150bucks on the outfit
shoes cost almost 100bucks. but i figure go high once and have some nice work boots that will last along time, wearing them right now and so far they are comfortable

im more of a Tshirt and jeans guy myself. in fact most of my shirts are all Tshirts with funny pictures on them.
im defiantly not the dress up kinda guy!
