Default new GT-R?

hows this? i think the front end could use a little change, and its weird to see the skyline change this much, but its better than some of the early prototypes. oh, and the rumor is still a bigger displacement VQ engine, with turbos and ATTESA-ETS AWD system. should be around 450hp from the factory. maybe that new Z06 will have a competitor after all?

Damn, Im not a big fan of the new body. Its so drastic, and I loved the R34, but this is just too much. At least the insides are good. I heard the new supras were really good, no specifics, just "good."

well...not mentioning the fact that the viper costs twice as much and the ford gt costs about 60000 more

lol yeah, i didn't mention that but I am sure the nissan and the toyota(that knowone knows anything about) won't be real cheap either! they are the reanimation of the old Jap "super cars"... I kinda like the looks of the nissan... although it is a little drastic... and I agree I LOVED the R34....the new one makes me think that a vette and a nissan 350 Z had a baby... lol

nope prolly not... altough a Gt mustang has about 100 hp less, but u can get one for around $25 K rather than the $40 k a vette costs... aka take that extra $15 K and dump it in the motor... well...lets just say HOLY CRAP!! lol

ps. u could do a really smart thing and make that damn mustang a little lighter too!! jeeze its heavy!

actually, even the GT and the viper arent giving the C6 Z06 a run either. someone did a head to head with those three, and the Z06 decimated them in everything but the top speed, and it only lost that to the GT by a couple of MPH. i mean the GT and the Viper were pulling around 1.05Gs, and the Z06 pulled an almost unheard of 1.10!! i hate to admit just how bad *** that piece of american muscle is, but theres no denying it. and guys are drag racing them, and having HUGE traction problems with the 305 tread tires in the rear, adn still pulling low 12s at around 127mph. thats insane for a stock car. also, people are putting long tube headers on them and getting almost 550 to the wheels. all with damn pushrods[:@]

^sad but true. That thing is a monster and has got to be one of, if not THEE best car for the money.

I personally like the new Skyline. I really liked the old styles as well, but change isnt necessarily a bad thing. Just think if Civic body styles never changed, how fun would that be?!
