oh and Nail.. even if the engine is crappy for modding(which is the first time i heard that) then it doesn't really matter, cause 185HP is more than enough for me, all the cars i have driven have had at most 130hp, and for modding i only wanted to reach 200-225hp that was my ideal set up hp

I am telling you there is noway in hell it is a B16B

 

i wont fully know if it IS or ISN'T a B16B until saturday when i get to see the car... i am just hoping that it is...a man can dream can't he?? most likely it will be one of teh lesser B16 motors... i jsut want a B16B so bad... that or a B18C1.. but weven with a B16A variation it will be between 158-170HP so taht is a HUGE step up from the D15B7 that i have now.... only 2 more days... well then a bit before the swap... but still i will get to drive it... man i hope that this deal goes through fully cause if the body is crap then my G/F isn't buying it [:'(]

well the term"too good to be true" springs to mind... that guy knew nothing good about modding, he had ricetive.. i mean ractive exhaust and claimed that it was a $2000 dollar exhaust system[sm=bs.gif], he said it had a CAI, it had an SRI. they guy told us that the body was fine and there were only a few dents... what he neglected to inform that by "good condition" he meant more body fill and rust than metal. he also told us that we could take it for a test drive, but when we got there the guy told us that the car didn't move cause it won;t go into gear...and last but not least... he told us taht it had a B16 engine... the first thing that i did when he poped the hood was check the engine code... D16Z6... whart a frigging moron.... needless to say we didn't even let him boost the car to start it(cause it wouldn't start).... well that is that.. and i am still stuck with a D15B7, and an auto tranny...

^^ too true... damnit i was really wanting to get a B16...well the good outcome of the day was that i found out that Saint John, New Brunswick has about 3 warehouses/department stores that are ALL automotive stuff... it is only and hour away too(at driving the speed limit)and here i am buying stuff off of ebay and waiting for 3 weeks for it to arrive

and they have some kick *** roads for driving one too... some of them are bumpy as hell though...
