well i have just come accross the best deal EVER!!! i have just been offered a 93 civic hatch (same as mine), with a B16 engine(not exactly sure on the exact model engine, 5 speed, full exhaust system, for $1500. now my girlfriend is looking for a car right now, so here is the plan.. we are going to check out the car this Saturday, if we are satisfied with the car she is going to buy it, and we are going to swap, my engine/tranny/exhaust, with that from the new car.. the only thing that we will have to spend other than the $1500 is the labour at my stepfather's shop to do the swap, which we are going to split.... my god i hope taht the engine is the B16B ...... wish us luck

well for the swap... it would have to be professionally done(i.e. stepfathers' shop) but i will try and take pics of it though... got we are both so excited right now... i WAS hoping that it was a B18C5 in there cause the guy who is selling it has quite a bit of money... and aparently he jsut wants to get rid of it ASAP, cause he just bought a new sport bike(and i think it has the same headlights as your car Psyco)

 

haha cool. its a steal tho for $1500. i have that money right now myself. i'll buy it before saturday hahaha. then you can't have it.

 

actually id rather stay away from the CTR engine. sure its a great stock engine, but when you start modding it goes to hell.

 

good find.. im holding out driving a 95 caravan right now.. ill be trading it in on a 06 civic si in like 3-6 months..

 

I dont know where you got that from but it is far from the truth. I promiss it is not the B16B though as the B16B swap alone is worth around 2.5 times more than you are giving for the car.

 

nice find..why dont you guys just switch cars all toughter and save on the swap? or is the body on yours alot better or somthing

well the guy just bought a brand new Suzuki sport bike, and his girlfriend just bought a new car too.. and yes the body on my car is in better condition, and my g/f wants the other one once the swap is done...
