I just tried to put videos on my iPod and it didnt work.

The files were mp4 (mpeg 4) video files.
They were in the ipod but when i disconnected the ipod and
checked to see if the video played it wouldn't play.
I only heard the sound..............not the video.

 

Check the tv out settings in the video settings. if it is set to tv out it will do that... a gaurantee that is the problem

 

Ok. on tv settings its either On, or OFF.....do i turn it off?
It also has tv signal.....what do i put? NTSC, or PAL?

 

yeah turn it off. otherwise the ipod thinks you are trying to play it out on a tv. tv signal doesn't matter it is only for tv out
