I'm not taking it to a track and I don't plan on pushing the car's limits on the street, so it won't make much of a difference. I figure I might as well go for style.

I want to, but I know if I get a WRX it'll never be the same as an STi and I'll always regret not getting an STi, and even the 04 STis are still out of my price range. I plan on spending absolutely no more than $13k on the car, preferably as close to $10k as I can. I'm thinking a few years down the line I'll probably start looking towards an '04/'05 STi.

Yup, the mustang's going. Possibly this fall. I just got home via flatbed. Leaving a parking lot, my left-hand ball joint decided it'd be a great time to completely separate. At the very least, the car will now need new ball joints, new struts, and probably a new tie rod end, not to mention a new wheel (from the LCA rubbing on the wheel getting the car on/off the flatbed), and that's just what I know of off-hand. That's just a visual inspection without removing the wheel. I'm tired of things breaking on this car.
