Default Need Help.

been going out with the g/f for 2.5 years, and it's i think its that time where i make the "dumb" mistake as i put it. were both on our way to owning our first home. i know this is it. so does she. it's one of those things where you just know, like i live in canada, we all have polar bears as pets. anyways, the problem is, she is allergic to metal. gets a rash and very itchy in that area where metal is. makes things alittle easier for me, she can't wear that much jewellery. earings don't bother her, neither does necklaces. also sucks for me, she can't do dishes very long becasue of the sink and all the metal. i've heard of hypo allergenic rings, i just don't know how well there hypo allergenicness is. i can't think of any other type of material i could get made into a ring, and a stone put into. thats my delima. oh and it's got to last a little more then a few years.

You may can put a coat of clear on the ring to protect her skin from the metal. I've never even heard of an allergy to metal.

What kind of metals? They make rings out of Titanium so I would look into alternative metals like Titanium and white gold.

the following are traditional metal, buttry them out, maybe she wont be allergic to some of these...withoutor with less Ni
18k gold
platinum
white gold

titanium - used in medical applications and not many people are allergic to it

They have wooden rings too - with no stones -maybe as a last resort...

lol at the wooden ring. "Honey, I thought you'd like to have wood in your hand all the time"

Seriously that and the titanium rings seem like the best options so far
