They are completely nuts, they're not just testing nukes, they're testing America too. They firmly believe that by appearing threatening they will not become another Iraq as the fear of nukes will stop America and whoever else from attacking. Remember attack is the best form of defence.

Yea i jus saw that too...it looks like USA and China r gonna fight with each other to stop this..but N.Korea has already threatened us on usin nuclear power against the US...so if they paln to do somethjing to N.Korea they need to act now!...but u know we have are nukes ready..N.Korea will be a myth if we hit it wit a nuke!...they have quanity,but we have quality nukes!!!!!..But yea,it looks like WWIII!!!!!

 

i hope it doesn't come to that but with that mad man in power who know's, everyone thaught sadam was bad ****. and i don't think the usa will use nukes cause if we get into a nuclear war they call it mutually assured destruction

 

I dont think some people understand how a nuclear bomb effects the world... An average missile from N. Korea would hit my home in Japan in less than 3 minutes... I could row a boat from Fukuoka Bay and be standing on Korean within the same day. When it comes to flying something to USA dont worry about that... the nuke they tested was about the size of a city bus and it didnt work as well as they thought (thus exploding another one)...

Kim Jong Il sends off missiles all the time but makes them crash into the ocean within miles of Japan waters. He, like Sadaam Hussein and Ahmidinejad, are SOOOO dangerous becuase they really really really believe that they are some sort of Jesus or divine being. They have clear psychological problems and that makes them IMPOSSIBLE to reason with... if you take their lives, the leadership crumbles because everyone wants him out so they can rise to the top...

And the fear of a country using a nuclear weapon on another is that USA MUST respond with equal or more force. Japan supplys most of the world with stuff we need, you attack japan and the whole world will go off the handle bars on you. Having US bases does make a prime target but the chance of a bomb making it past USA's missile shield in the Sea of Japan and Ohkosk is sooo unlikely... They'd have to launch everything at once to get it past them.

Japan should be allowed to build its offensive military and contribute to the West.

 

you have to look at North Koreas position. When Clinton was president we threatened them with military force and they haulted their progress. Sometime after that they continued their enrichment of uranium. Pres Bush said there would be consquences if the North Korean's continued making their missiles, and they didnt listen, and we did nothing.

Bush said again there would be consquences if they continued their Nuclear project. They didnt listen and we did nothing yet again.

Bush said there would be consquences if they tested their nuclear ability. They did and Condelezza Rice has said there will be no military action.

I mean are they playing us for fools? Because they called our bluff EVERYTIME.
