Sweet ***. So how much is it?

 

Ok its going to cost about £7k for the older shape elise, £1.5k for the k20, gearbox and other bits, £2.5-3.5k for the convertion bits and then however much to install it all. Im lucky in that my mechanic owns a modified elise and the only company that specialises in this convertion is not very far away. So all in all about £11-12k, which is not a lot considering that it would destory £100k ferrari's on a track!

 

What's that in real money?

12,000 pounds = $21,470.40 Not bad at all. I'm in.

This is awesome, the only problem with the Elise was the engine. Maybe I'll rock one in a couple years.

Now that you guy's in the states have the proper k20 engine in your si's the aftermarket for that engine will really start to kick off so you would be able to build one hell of an engine for it, It would be a true super car slayer!
I even saw one were the owner of his elise had taken the lotus badge off the front and had replaced it with the honda H. now thats hardcore.
