My Homemade Digital Picture Frame
So I saw a couple of these online and decided to make one for my grandma for Christmas. We just got her a digital camera last Christmas and I figured she would like it a lot. I paid $100 in materials (plus I had an old flatscreen monitor) so about the same price as a store bought one but like 100x better. It's a small computer basically, running windows XP, and has a 20gb hard drive, way more than those stupid store bought ones which have like 128mb. It also a 17" screen vs. the storebought ones which have like 11" screens at max (at least in this price range). It's almost done, the only thing left to do is mount all the power stuff. You will may notice in one of the pictures that I have a regular computer supply mounted but thats because I am still waiting on the power cord for my micro psu in the mail.
I also painted it gold. More pictures to come soon! Let me know what you think!
