Listen up... I've gotten out of 3 tickets.

Don't deny you did it, just go to court and they'll offer you a reduced charge but if they don't just say how you've been a responsible driver for the last two years and you don't normal do things like that, you just had a moment. Also say how there was no one else around and it was late at night and you were on your way home.

Running a red isn't a huge thing anyways but you'll more than likely get something really minor like rolling through a stop sign and one point. Expect to pay the full fine though.

I just got my 1st the other day too (well 1st in my "record"). Sad thing is I drive by that road everyday and I knew he was there but I was in hurry to get some lunch and go back to school. Your ticket doesnt state the fine in the back?

 

no it doesnt. guys, this week hasnt been good for me. im soo pissed right now. check this bs out- MY CAR got keyed that night too ( the night of the ticket. ) my cousin noticed it this morning when he rode with me to school and i noticed it when i got home and figured it happened at school. he said no it was there. so saturday night i went to a movie and parked it in the movie parking lot. i guess some idiot thought it was funny. there are alot of people at another school that dont like me so im thinking they did it. but if i ( or my parents ) find out who did it, there is going to be HELL. i have the money to pay for the ticket though thats the only good part. LOOK AT THESE PICS. they are sooo DEEP.

That sucks man. I would be pissed about they keying. I havent gotten a ticket or even been pulled over yet (7 months of driving). But I agree with the cops making people mess up. The other day I was flying through a 45 at about 70 because up ahead the limit changed from 45 to 60. So I sped up early like I always do. Just then I see a cop pull out from a side street and goes in the opposite direction of me. I slam my brakes and slow to about 50. We pass each other on the road and then I see him turn into a driveway and turn around. At this point im thinking omg im going to get pulled over (im 16 so im nervous as hell). I keep looking back and he keeps following me. It was at about 3:30 pm so I couldnt really see if he had his lights on or not. I just keep going and going and looking back to see if he is gonna pull me over. So I end up driving 60 mph all the way home while this idiot follows me. Its about a 5 minute drive. I turn off where my house is and when he didnt turn i was happy.

Anyway one of my friends was behind me and the cop and he said the cop turned off and then got back on behind him. He followed my friend all the way home too. I have no idea why a cop would do that. It pisses me off.
