so does anybody use any type of video editing software? and if so what type? I'm using Cyberlink PowerDirector

Sony Vegas is one of the best editing programs available. It's pretty complex, however and would require you reading a lot of tutorials to get the gist of things.

Here is the cheapest and most user-friendly version available. As for free alternatives, there really aren't many that are worth your time; if you'd like a hint on getting Vegas free, just PM me, I can help

I have adobe premiere pro, also very complex, but ive seen some finished results and theyre very impressive

Final Cut Pro. It's nice. Best on a mac if you can get it.

Yeah, on the Mac, the more basic iMovie is also fine for many purposes.

When i had a windows computer i used that program... well needless to say it froze a lot, as you could have probably guessed.

Tried it on a number of different computers but they all had problems, especially when converting the project into a movie file.


I currently don't use anything, but i've played around with iMovie a little and I like it.
When I had windows I torrented adobe premier pro, it was pretty nice. (costs like $700 if you don't pirate it. lol)
