RE: motorcycle license
I think under 50CCs (maybe its 75CCs) you only need a driver's license. The reason why there are 2 types of motorcycle licenses is b/c if your under 18 its alot easier to get an L class than getting an M class. Bigger bikes are harder to ride as well.

RE: motorcycle license
u can ride 50cc here with no license at all thats what all the DWI ppl ride to work haha dont drink and drive. big bikes are not hard to ride i started on the street with a goldwing when i was 16 the best way for someone to learn in my opinion is a dirt bike it dont hurt that bad when u go down and it dont tear the bike up most of the time.. if u learn how to ride the big bike first the smaller ones are so easy.. instead of getting used to the smallbike firstand busting ur *** when u get on the bigger one

RE: motorcycle license
did i say oh a goldwing is a great starter bike no.. if they go and buy a 150cc bike they will be so unhappy because they will get run overdue to lack
of power. they should find a 600cc-750cc street bike or around a 750cc crusier so when they get used to riding they will have a bike worth riding
and not a 150cc bike, i wouldnt even want a dirt bike that small.. i tought about 5 of my friends to ride on a 750cc suzuki vulcan and one on a
750cc v45 magna they never got hurt i started them in a parking lot once they got used to the control and feel of the bike we would go down the
road
edit thank u ben i very much so agree

RE: motorcycle license
well in CA, we have 3 types of licenses.
C, M1, M2.
I don't know but heck,I think you could ride a bike with permit.
Then what's the difference with license? Just having passenter?
oh yeah, how much does usual bike cost? And usually when does the bike in poor condition on mileage?
Thanks guys, you guy's been great help.
and yeah, they require license to ride moped here lol

RE: motorcycle license
hey I always used clutch when shifting, but I heard from few people that you don't need to use the clutch when shifting up. But you always need to use the clutch when shifting down...
so is that true? no use of clutch when shifting up? use of clutch makes the bike go faster than just shifting right?
