Oh yeah, it was a great job and I was making about 45,000 right out of college from my occupation and only about another 10,000 from our side project.... BUT, I could easily ask 2x more salary by sticking out another 2 years or so of school. We have zero debt (just a mortgage but house will be rented out), 2 cheap cars now (Civ and Accord), and money saved up enough so that we will not need to take out student loans or pell grants. We are both planning on looking for part-time jobs so we will not have to eat into whatever savings we have! Ahhh, back to minimum wage!! hehehe! I missed college, actually!!!

With our cheap life change I might be able to do a little more work with my civic... the wife says she might consider letting me screw around with her accord!

 

So did you just up and leave your job to go back to school? or did they lay you off?

 

Ya go back to school, Ihave 2 years left of my second engineering degree and no regrets.

edit: Good for you on not having to take out a student loan. I made enough after I had my Mech Engineering degree to toss myself right through my second degree. (if the civic doesnt eat up all my money before I finish )

 

Oh I quit, baby! And we have been good with our money... well Eve has been good with the money, I want a k swap.... but we've got a little cushion and little debt so we're pretty okay right now!!

^^^HAHAHAHAHA!!! The only "drifting" I really ever saw in a city was an RX7 vs an Evo VII as they drove really fast around an intersection.... yeah, they didnt even turn sideways, just drove really fast and skreetched tires really loud.

I only got one more semester left and I'm kinda scared thinking im gonna get a career and want to go back but with what I can see here it's exciting so have fun being a student again. What college are you gonna go to. Sorry if you already said im a slacker and didn't read all the posts.

 

i go to iraq in july for the army, lol
