So I was driving down a street near my house, and I've alway seen this mazda sitting outside on the street.
It looks like it was beat up pretty bad (just a glance, it might be a lot more superficial than I'm thinking)
What I noticed right away were a couple things:
no rear bumper
no front bumper
no headlights
looked like the hood was bent up a little

So I don't know if it was in like...a car sandwich or what, but I know it's been sitting there for a while

Think it's worth it to go and talk to the presumed owner, see if he'd sell it or what all is wrong with it?

And I'm not sure if it's a Mazda 3, I don't have an eye for cars, but that's just a guess.

it might be tough, I don't have a digital camera, just a cell phone, and I gotta find a way to upload them to my computer

ok, so I took the pictures and I don't have anything I can use to transfer them from my phone to my computer
so while I figure this out, I think the car's in a lot worse shape than at first glance
I didn't think to try and pop the hood while I was there, people were already staring at me and it just didn't cross my mind
and the other super amazing part is, it's right outside of an apartment complex
so that'll be interesting to try and find the owner

not sure about the year.
The owner lives in an apartment complex, jsut a small one, but the main door is locked
it's rather difficult to get in there to talk to him

I love those cars...my friend has the mazdaspeed 3, its beastly!!!

 

Ok, here are the pictures. As you can see, the rest of the car is in pretty much perfect condition. The damage seems to be "focused" on these two parts. It is a manual and the inside looked alright from a quick glance. I still couldn't get under the hood, let alone get ahold of the owner.

Doesn't take much damage nowadays to make a car a write off, that looks like a write off candidate. Gone are the days when as long as the chassis was alright you could keep a clean title.

 

easy fix. No idea why you'd want that underpowered hunk of junk though...
