The radio stations around here suck ***, this is why I choose sat. radio

 

unfortunately the best thing we have around here is www.wklq.com They bring in some good concerts, and once in a while will play something I can really RTFO too, but for the most part its all mainstream stuff.

 

I listen to 96.1 the wave from Carleston S.C.

 

i really dont listen to the radio much because they overplay all the songs

but for rock we have 98.9 the bear and 102.3 extreme

rap we have hot 107.9 (which has a car show every year) and 96.3

 

96 Wave. Damn skippy! They were given an award for having the best sound quality for a privatly owned station. They aslo recieved rewards and stuff for being one of the best damn rock stations in the country.

 

ya everything up here sucks too...the one i listen to is Z103.5, its pretty cool..hoping to get sat radio soon

 

96.1 the wave seems to play a little bit of older music sometimes that hits the spot.

 

the only radio station that i listen too here in Fredericton, is FredFM 92.3 they play classic rock from the 60-90's other than that every radio station in PEI and NB SUCKASS!!!!... so i just stick with the CD player

 

I listen to the Rob, Arnie, and Dawn show religeously in the mornings on 98 Rock here. They are the number 1 rated morning show in our area. they outrank the closest show over 2:1, and arent afraid to rub it in. check them out at Robarnieanddawn.com. they are streaming (5am-10am PST, weekdays), theres just a quick little signup thing, but its easy. The music is ok, but I love the morning show.
