Just a rant...
Do you ever get the feeling that no one else on the road has anywhere to be and that his or her sole purpose for being on the road is to keep you from getting where you are going?
Is there anything more frustrating than sitting at a red light, have it turn green, and not even getting to move before it turns red again?
Why do people drive at the same exact speed right next to one another? And usually at well below the speed limit?
You ever have someone pass you only to go slower than you were going in the first place?
I don’t understand why every single traffic light I come to has to be red.
I am about sick of the heat.
You know, we get so conditioned. It seems like every time I get in my car I am going somewhere I don’t want to go (work), in traffic that I don’t want to be in. And what happens? I start to associate my car with going to work, or paying bills or running stupid errands. It seems like I don’t have time, or I don’t make time anymore to just cruise. I spend my weekends turning wrenches to get my car running right so I can take it to work. I get so caught up that I forget what it’s all about in the first place… driving. It took a small editorial in Honda Tuning to remind me of this.
So, this weekend after the injectors and the chip go in, and I replace one of my wheel studs, trade taillights with my donor car, run the PCV line that I have been putting off, paint my valve cover and replace the gasket while it’s off, run the pretty red plug wires, change the plugs, advance the timing, build the speaker box to fit in the spare tire well, track down why my A/F gauge isn’t working and replace the pillar pod with the new carbon fiber one, and finally detail the thing… I am going cruising.
Who’s with me?

i agree ---idiot drivers **** me off all the time ----city driving is insane---either too fast or too slow ----[:@][:@] what the sence of havin a fast car when 50 mph is as fast as u could go on the hiway ---give me the midwest where some of the roads r wide open

RE: Just a rant...
yes, except in the midwest you have farmers who like to drive their tractors and combines down the roads, screwing the flow of traffic.
i swear humans have a herd instinct. if one driver drives slow, all drivers start to drive slow. except for the few who can think independently.
i'm with ya, sniper.

my friend and i were out the other day in his new multi-colored VW golf. we had just gone to arbys, and were going to get on the highway to hit taco bell and hooters on the other side of hooters. we got behind this buick and waited before we started up the on ramp so we gave grandpa a good headstart (cuz you know how slow they get onto the highway) so we're just idling up the on ramp (we have a good 45 mph speed) and i **** you not, when drew (my friend) accelerated we got to the guys *** in 5 seconds. he got onto the highway at not more than 50 mph. and he stayed like that until our exit. he had his left blinker on too. and the entire higway was passing us so we couldnt get over to pass him. we were pissed.

Oh yeah, I forgot the pics for my gallery part.
I actually took some pics the other day, but with all of the VC painting going on my underhood looks pretty drab. Plus I got a strut tower brace that's going on.
