It was announced when they announced the iphone 3G that it's going to be available int 70 countries on the 11th of July(including Canada), and 90 countries by the end of the year

 

wait, i thought it was 25 countries on july 11, and then later on, after a few months, a total of 70. and i was also wondering about the contractual agreements that are involved with the price and all. i really don't care about the new phone, i was just interested in the 2.0 software and what it had to offer.

 

If you have an iPhone now the current models will be able to upgrade to the 2.0 software at no charge. just wont be 3G compatible
