my friend has a '90 hatch and he wants a swap, but i was telling him to take the motor from his bros '88-89 integra that he just has sitting there for like 4 years(and not tell him about it hahaha {his brothers a ****in dick head}) thatll fit under the hood right? it should bolt right in i think

yea dont steal. id get pissed if someone stole my motor... lol

neways the first gen teg didnt have a very powserful motor in it. you could get a 90-93 integra motor and it would be more powerful. dont forget he'll also need a new tranny (maybe) and a new ecu.

If he can get the motor go for it. Free is free, and it doesnt matter what engine it is, because its a free dohc, so its def better. Even if its got a B16 in it, I hate that motor, but id still swap it out, because that bioch was free!

well..that would be the D16a1 right?

From what ive heard about that engine doesn't fit well and you will have to make custom mounts and some places even talk about it not bolting up to other d-series trannys..
