OK as for the teachers knowing you smoked, most of the teachers I had in high school knew I smoked. I was still a 3.8 gpa Honor student, NHS, all that crap. I don't know if it was just the teachers I had but they didn't treat me any differently. My personal opinion most HS teachers, excluding the old school ones, don't care what you do in your personal time. They all knew my friends and I were hard core drinkers as well, we used to joke about. Once I turned 21 I actually went back and took a few of my favorite teachers out to the bar. I wouldn't worry much about it, it is stupid HS drama, and no one can prove anything anyhow.

Pot has nothig to do with a person not being strong anough to turn down substances that are known to cause addiction and/or death, the perfect example of this is cigerettes. Many many people smoke cigerettes and have never smoked pot so let me ask what was the "gateway" drug that turned them to cigerettes?

I agree somewhat. If a person sits at home or does not publicly flash it around and such IMO I think there is nothing wrong with it. I think it is bs that there are rules against it. Example: who is the government to say that I can not smoke but yet the nation and world no doubt has a drinking problem which is way worse than weed. I dont understand how it is ok to get off work and come home then your allowed to drink a beer to "relax" but you can smoke a bowl or something.

edit - and for the record, I use it in moderation. As long as I'm accomplishing what needs to be done, there's no problem with it. When it starts to interfer with other things, I stop.

dont get me wrong...if it wasnt illegal i would be doing it. ive done it before and it was a blast. i mean..i agree w/ md on the fact that if alcohol is legal then pot should be legal. but as long as its illegal its wrong IMO.
