I'm back (not that anybody cares)
I have not been on for a while. Recently I was involved in a car accident and my wife and I sustain minor injuries. My knee swelled and became bruised and my chest smarts because of the seat belt. My wife suffered a minor concussion. The car suffered complete bumber, passenger headlight, hood, grill and passenger side fender damage.
This is what happened:
IDIOT CUT ME OFF.
While traveling north, a 1997 Lexus SC 300 traveling south made a left in front of me. I slammed on the breaks but because of the rain, I skidded and rammed his passenger side back quarter panel. I damaged his tail lights, back quarter panel, rear bumper, and trunk.
I was livid and about to take my club and smash his head. My first concern was my wife who is 6 months pregnant. Nothing permanent happened to the baby but the whole situation was absurd. As soon as it happened, I grabbed the club to smash his head but my wife called me to tend to her.
Anyway, I got my car fixed. The bill was $4,601 of which I had to pay $1000. I also purchased and installed a rear upper strut bar. I have the stock tires and hubcaps back on looking for new rims. Sold the other RIMS 'cause they were too big (18").
Will post pics of the job the auto shop did. I'm happy with the work 'cause before the accident there were scratches all over the place and now it's like brand new. Anyway, now I'm back will be online a little more.

Thanks guys. I was kind of down 'cause of the money and work I put into the civic so far but now that it looks new again. I'm excited to continue to work on it. Since there is not alot of engine performance parts out there for the 2005 civic lx, I'm working on the stability and suspension right now.
Any suggestions? I just have the front and rear upper strut bar installed right now. I want to lower it about 1.5 inches so where should I look at for that?
