hey guys whats up, i havent been on here at all i the last month, i have been workin on the crx and started skool, plus i ****ed up my comp. so, oh yea, i might be trading my crx for a 1990 hatchback it is gold, it will be primer black, lowered, and have my short throw shifter in it, right after we trade, so if anyone has any ideas for a motor to swap into it, let me know...

welcome back. ive been gone alot too, so I know how it is. hows the crx coming? like what kinda work you been doing? i think the hatch idea is a good one. i had a 91 hatch and i loved that car. it got flooded out by hurricane rita before i could get a d16z6 motor swap finished. it was so much fun, and the back seat was huge. i got back there with my tall 6'4" *** amd had plenty of leg and head room. it is well laid out too. cup holders in the back, and the shape of the car is great for bass. i had a single sony xplod 12" in a poorted box with a 444w xplod amp. the bass pounded in that little hatch. you couldnt see out of the rearview at all. i really want another one someday. good luck on that trade.

alot of people will disagree with this one, because its the heavy choice. but i say the h22. it is one of the cheapest motor swap options, and it drops in the easiest in that generation civic. it has the biggest base horsepower out of all the motor swap options so it will create plenty of horsepower from the swap alone. do your homework. hasport sleeved an h22 built it for boost and boosted it. they dropped the setup into a 91 crx and made a 10 second car. boosting properly isnt cheap tho. a good motor swap with intake and exhaust should safely get you into the mid 13's. a few more bolt ons or spray and you can get into the 12's.
