Idiots at dealership screwing with privacy...
So my wife drives a one year old Suzuki SX4 that we bought new. We do not service it at the dealership since it isn't convenient and because I don't trust them. They usually send me mailers and stuff informing of specials and such and I don't mind that, since I've given mailers to friends before and they got good deals on my account, however today the idiot a service manager decides to try and send out a "special offer" through email. If this was done right I'd have absolutely no issue with it since it's not spam, however!!!! the idiot added the whole "customers" distribution list to the "To" box. Guess what, now my perfectly good email address used for serious business and mailings is compromised to spam and so are hundreds of other boxes of customers of this dealership group. Not that it wasn't enough to **** me off, he did it TWICE with the same goddamn offer slightly re-worded.
Now I sent him an email after business hours pointing out what he did and asking for him to make sure that his manager calls me ASAP. Mind you, this is my primary IPS provided address that I've had or years and never has anything like this happened. If I don't get a phone call tomorrow I will personally visit the said dealership and than any other place that will care. I'm sure disrespect for privacy will float well with the media.

off topic:james and i both decided that itd be a waste for me to drive 2+ hrs for *****, eat, and shoot the sh*t for an hour or so and drive 2+ hours back. We decided that an all day/car show deal would be better

Meh it's no worse then the news article i saw the other day of dealerships taking a photo copy of your license, when going on a test drive, then doing a credit check without your knowing while on the test drive.

ZOMG, your main IPS email?
How do you manage!?!?!?!?!?
Also, Auto-Xing Saabs is gay, Its much more fun to race the Springtime in Sweden editions on the tail of the dragon.
And next time, don't give an important email address to someone you don't trust.
