Default I need some DVD and DVD-R software help

Well i bought a dvd burner saturday, put it all in and installed the software that came with it. Well the software that came with it sucks and i have to pay more to get the plug-in to actually watch dvd's and burn them WTF. Anyway i tried using my own dvd software and it keeps on installing the app. corrupted. Is there any software and is hopefully free or really cheap that i can use to view dvd's and burn them while bypassing the copyright software?

I dunno how much it costs, but Nero 6 is pretty good. I use it for both CD and DVD burning. You can burn DVD movies, data, music discs, VCDs, and other stuff.

I'm using Nero 6 ultra edition and i've never had any problem. They prolly gave you a copy of Nero with only half the stuff in it so you will go out and buy the real thing.

You can no longer download DVD Decrypter or any version of it. I recommend DVDFab Decrypter or DVD Shrink. I prefer DVD Shrink, but unfortunately that program cannot handle Sonys ACCROS or whatever the acronym is; this is where a DVDFab Decrypter type software comes in handy then use DVD Shrink to compress the file. Make sure you have at least 20GB of free harddrive space as some newer movies use the DVD-18 disc size.

I tried to download DVD Decrypter from the programmers website bc of a lawsuit he had to take down all versions and mirrors of DVD Decrypter. At least that is according to him, perhaps someone still has a copy of it they are offering.
