^^^ Best Idea EVER!!!
Dont rip him off or anything, but you have worked your butt off on that hatch. So sell the Accord and put that money into getting the hatch painted like you have been wanting to.

well the thing is its along story my mom died in 2002 and left me the house and was payed off.last year my dad wanted to get a loan on the house for $50,000 and with a clause if he died the loan would be payed off and the house would still be mine. so dad got the loan and payed the accord off for me yeah i know he's a great dad. so i'm thinking of just giving him the accord and keeping the hatch. he told me if i ever needed to borrow it i could so i think thats a good plan

Oh well in that case, yeah just give it to him. Well I think to make it a legal sale you have to sell it for a dollar. At leastthats what you have to do in GA to change the title of the car. LOL
Side note, Your dad sounds cool as hell.

I didn't know that you had the Accord paid off. i thought you were paying for it still.
Giving your dad the accord sounds good man, considering he paid for it mostly lol That would seem to be the niceest thing in my mind. But it all comes down to this. What do you think would make him happier?
