I most likely have the best job ever.
Soo yesterday I'm at work building up a prototype device when we run into a rotating seal issue that no one can figure out. One of the managers (ex. Ferrari mechanic) says "Oh, that looks like a [Ferrari] 355 water pump seal."
Now, being the dedicated worker I am, I promptly volunteered to make a trip to the local Ferrari dealership to pick up the part, Symbolic for all you San Diegans. (This place also had Lambo, Lotus, Bently, Porsche, Bugatti, Saleen etc) When I get there with another guy I work with we find the part we need... $300 for a piece of rubber wtih a spring in it. So we call up the manager guy to see if it's ok if we spend that much money on this part but all the important people are in an important meeting, they'll call us back in a half hour when the meetin is over. Hm, what to do in an exotic car restoration shop/dealership for a half hour... oh right, wander around and oogle over the cars.
The guy I was with knew one of the mechanics so he took us around and showed us all the goodies, it was like heavin. They main shop had all the new cars in for service including a 550, a 360 and a handful of Lambos. The best part was the restoration shop though, so many classic Ferraris and Lambos, 300SL Gullwing, Le Mans cars, F1 cars, etc etc etc.
Finally we got a call back with the thumbs up to buy the part. Our medical device now has genuine Ferrari parts in it.
Here's the one picture I managed to get my tounge off the floor and take:

RE: I most likely have the best job ever.
Not too many people can say that their car is part ferrari... I own businesses but I agree that you got a good job. I wish I was more of a hands on kind of guy with cars... I hardly know anything about it, just how much it costs and when to pick my car up after it is installed!
