i buy mine from ebay... ive had GREAT success with this alarm system! ive put it on about 3 vehicles now and it out performs my more expensive DEI alarm paging systems in every way! the remotes paging distance is at least twice as far on this system.
i put on a dei system onto my truck and im going to remove it eventually for this exact system since the paging distance is SO MUCH FURTHER!

http://cgi.ebay.com/2-WAY-LCD-PAGER-...4.c0.m14.l1262

they have several different packages for that alarm depending on what all you want extra...
http://stores.shop.ebay.com/ASIANWOL...?_sop=15&_sc=1

but i do HIGHLY SUGGEST that you get the package with 2 remote lcd paging remotes! if you loose the one a replacement costs ya 50bucks... so do yourself a favor now and pay the extra 26bucks for the next up package deal that includes the 2 remotes.
the way i had mine when i lived in the old apartment was i had one remote control right next to my bed so if anyone messed with my car at night it would page the remote and wake me up! and i could also wake up in the morning in the winter and hit the remote starter to have the car warmed up before i went outside

and not sure if your cars a auto or 5speed but you can still install it on a manual car. just never leave the car in gear, but if you do or someone else ever has access to your car then just dont hook up the starter wire. then you can still use the stop and go feature to start the car up with the key hit the remote start button on the remote and then once the alarm system kicks in and holds the motor running you simply turn your key to off position and get out, and your motor will keep running for your desinated amount of time programed on the alarm.
i never left my car in gear so i just wired it up regularly. but if you ever leave it in gear or have someone else in your car that MIGHT then dont take a chance and dont hook up that starter wire. simple as that!

but if you dont want the remote starter system of any kind you dont have to hook it up really. just put some tape over those wires on the brain.

Yeah I park my car in nuetral. I will never be seen in an automatic lol. The day they stop making standard transmissions is the day I will start riding public transportation.

Yes it was locked. But I myself know how to unlock my car without my keys. So assuming that the person was good at what they did because of in front of the security office I bet they got in easily. Hell it could even have been security for all I know. No cameras to help me out.

lol, believe me I've thought of everything you can possibly think of. I just knew I had to accept the fact that I'm not getting my stuff back and just be a little more cautious on what I have in my car and be more protective. I work saturday so I will go into the security office and tell them how retarded they are. Plus a friend gave me a Rockford 12" Sub with the box for free half way there
