As some as you might have known, I was supposed to get a black EK hatch today. Well, I didnt. I went to check out the car today, and there was a lot wrong with it. Rusty, no airbags, the cd player was broken, the tires were horrible, its smelled like mildew, tranny made noises, and worst of all, the area for the spare tire was flooded. Im bummed because I really had my heart set on a hatch, but theres a nice EX in town that Im going to look at Monday, wish me luck on that I guess.

 

there will almost always be a better car out there and usualy it will be the one you wanted, instead of the other one you kind of wanted

 

dood. all the world is your ocean, and there's plenty of civics out there to buy. a few more days ain't gonna kill ya.

who knows. you might actually find an si out there for the same price as an ex.

actually...Si's ususally go cheaper than EXs because Sis are almost impossible to find un-modded...and the mods lower the value of the car. an Si bone stock will cost more than an Si with an AEM CAI, DC header, and Greddy EvoII exhaust. so look around for an Si.

 

not totally true. i had 2 total losses on my hyundai accent...

1st of all. i bout it for 3k

the first acident happened when i got hit by a farm tractor. it was compleatly stock. they claimed it as a totall loss. i got $2,500 for it, not bad.

i fixed it and wound up makeing $500.

the second wreck i had a cd player, custome exhaust, and a ricer wing. all costed me about $450. it was claimed a totall loss again. and the insurance company gave me $5,000 for it. i asked why and they told me, the wing exhaust and cd player... maybe a mistake. maybe not.

 

well thats different. i mean when a car is in good condition its gunna be more expensive than one in good condition thats modified.

 

funny thing is.... the wing was a joke, it was on clearance for 60 bucks and that was like a $300 claim.

 

try picking up a import autotrader and see whats in there (i think they have them in the US), they have tuns of cars to choose from, i read them everyweek just to see whats new

 

never seen that. but then again. never looked.
