So, with summer coming around, im starting to see alot of first timer slips at some of my other forums, and I woud really like to see some track times from people here. I know that alot of people here are more about the turns than the quarter mile, but lets be honest; everyone wonders what their car will run in the quarter! I know that alot of guys have used the g-tech, but i dont trust them much.

Now, I am by no means "calling out" people, but these are a few people from whom I would really like to see track times...

Im sure that there are more, but these are the ones that really jumped out at me. the reason that i made this post was to sort of urge people to make a few passes, and fill our timeslips section up, as a member of another forum was making jokes about how "slow" our timeslips section is, but i KNOW that we have some fast cars here...

so, who did i miss?

I'll probably go to the test n' tune friday, not expecting the 15.9 again cause I'v since dropped 200+lbs in my trunk....and its unremovable big bastage sub box

 

well, the stratus went to the track last season (when i got this crazy burnout picture in my sig) but in my concern with the white car, i forgot to remove the subs, amp, jack, tools, etc...also, we werent planning on running it, so it had a full tank of gas...id like to get it into the 15s..we will see..

the other car (the old white dodge) ran 12.60s with a 3000 stall and a 4.10 posi rearend, but this year, it will have a 4000 stall and a 4.56 spool rearend. also, we cut about 200lbs out of the car. also, late last season, my dad was running it and it was running VERY lean on the numbers 1 and 3 cylinders, and it had a bad intake gasket...while fixing that, he put in a new timing chain and valve springs (i broke the top end last year). the engine sounds much more crisp, and we also discovered that the cam gear on the distributor was cracked, and the car wasnt in proper timing...so basically, we have no idea what it will do...id like to think that it will be faster.

bobby, my sub box in the stratus is the same way...its a nightmare to get out, so i just remove the big amp..its better than nothing...mostly, id like the stratus to get near the stock time of a manual stratus...

the bmw may be getting some new times this year as well, but im not sure on that one.

 

Well tomorow is scheduled for opening day but its raining here so looks like a no go. Im gonna be out on the town though so Ill make a Vid in car with a G-Tech... they are very accurate ive used one at the track just to see.
