RE: Hydrogen Booster??

Take a look at this thread- http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...s-wtf-451.html

What worries me is the comment on the final post-

"Its called hydrogen embrittlement, causes cracks in the metal of the block eventually. Thing is there are several kinds of hydrogen, just like water has different PH levels, and there is a form of hydrogen that doesn't cause embrittlement. If this weren't the case and the Big 3 didn't know about it , there would be no hydrogen fuel cell research for just that reason."

I was willing to try one of these systems on my 01 Chevy Silverado, but after reading this comment, I am having doubts. No way I'm going to put it in my 08 Civic.

RE: Hydrogen Booster??

Ive done lots of research on this topic and come up with this to say. Browns gass generated by the hydrogen booster is not only less explosive then gas but has less energy.. Ive found that its only suposed to improve the flash speed of the gasoline and thus being able to Lean out you a/f mixture to points you normaly couldnt. Which you would have to tune your car for. Most people see little to no effect from adding this, and the energy it takes to run the amperage to convert the water to browns gas puts such a load through the altenator and bogs the engeny down enough to actually just break even to what you adding. So basicaly its all crap. There is one that has scientificaly proved itself and goverment approved but the gas mileage onlygoes upabout 4%. So ..save your money.
