Hurricane a-comin to me!
Opheilia is coming in about an hour. Class 1 I believe. Its sort of pathetic that Myrtle Beach is evacuating. I mean COME ON! Its a class one hurricane, all it is is an over glorified thunder storm. And every one is freaking out. When people get together and panic the crowds I.Q. goes in the gutter. Im done ranting. Where I am (charleston) we will most likley get flooding, maybe a twister, not 'nawlans' style though.

Its starting to come. Clouds are now turning black. But last year we had a class one come... I believe it was "Gaston" <gaa-stawn> and I was chillin outside with some of my buddies enjoying the breeze and watching a branch or two tumble by with beers in our hands. Nothing big. Its a little over kill. BUT the peeps who went thru hugo are like "I aint leaving, ill sit through a class 3 but no more than that.

Yeah, we're getting like the tail of it. It's pretty dark out right now for 6 o'clock. It's pretty rediculous though because all public schools have been cancelled for tomorrow, and I'm in central NC (south of Raleigh). The worst we'll get is probably a heavy rain overnight and 2 or 3 branches down.
EDIT: Holy crap, I just realized that it's coming like straight for Fayetteville (my town). http://www.weather.com/weather/map/2...animated&day=1

It wasnt really anything. Although I did go across the massive new bridge we have around 8 and it was like 40 mph winds! It was reall f'n scary. I got blown over a lane!!!!! Thank god nobody was driving beside me, that would have been a mess. But other than that ,it just drizzled all damn night. Curses! I wanted some action!
