firm business handshake is the way to go. If you have a "dead fish" handshake - you are teh ghey. Also, when giving a handshake you should be firm, but not too firm. It's not a contest.

Ditto. A hand shake here says a lot about you. Rotos 'competition' handshake is what my buddies and I refer to as 'the train'. The train is your best squeeze. When someone asks you to give them the train, you basically try to crush their fingers. When one of us meets, come to ole remmy and try to give him the train to see waht youve got

Wow, I thought I was the only one who was this paranoid about giving hand shakes...
Firm business handshake is the way to go. Can't forget thumb placement and airpocket. You don't want to get the other guys hand all sweaty. Also, if somebody gives me a dead fish handshake, I squeeze the **** out of their hand.
My friends and I always somehow ending up discussing handshakes when we get drunk...
Anymore than 3 shakes... and that guy is gay.

i have to tell a short story involving hand shakes...the first day i met my now ex-girlfriends dad, i had to odviously shake his hand, now, he served in korea, was an English professor, and is currently a firearms training instructor....he had the weakest hands, wouldnt look me in the eye, and gazed off in the distance when he spoke, then gave me a speach about how i need to treat her with "the respect she desivers" (it was homecoming afternoon) so, just be firm, look people in the eye and look at them when you talk....lol
