this post implies one knows what "complete" is..... I don't think I'd ever stop working on my civi in some form or another.

Well, let's see. IMO in automotive related field, there is always room for improvement. So no matter what I would do and how much money I would spend, it would not be complete. Once you start making it faster and faster, $hit is gonna start to break and blow up, therefore you will need to spend more money to keep it running and it will never be complete.

EDIT: It's a vicious cycle.

Lets See:

1. APEXi GT Spec Cat Back Exhaust- ~$700 shipped
2. B16B engine swap - ~3000 for the engine and $1000 for install
3. Skunk2 Short Shifter with Shift ****- ~150
4. Skunk2 Full Coilover Kits- ~700 shipped

So around $5,550 to $6,000 and I'll be the happiest guy alive...

figure probably close to $12k to make it my dream, or about twice what the car is worth

involves stock to turbo monster

includes
catback, intake manifold, tb, cai, coilovers, strut bars, camber kits, cf: lips skirts hood fenders trunk & grill, control arms, seats, wheels & tires, lights, rear disc swap, HIDs, mini-me & turbo, as well as a coat of paint, and tinted windows, and an EX or Si Gauge cluster

does not take into account rebuilding the D for high power turbo... so probably closer to $15k

I could easily drop another $12,000 into it... K20a,garrett turbo, nitrous setup, bumper to bumper exhaust kiterformance header, hiflow cat, nice muffler, racing seats, leather upholstery back bench, reupholster interior, "conductors special" air horn kit from hornblasters.com,nicer rims/performance tires, fully adjustable suspension via computer... Take out my bigsubwoofer but just get some really nice speakers and tuck a little sub wherever there is room left.

And that is my civic.
