How money is made
What do you guys do to afford your upgrades? I am going to school and working in the college food service warehouse, and minimum wage is killin me. Most are probably working full time and for above minimum wage, I would suspect. I'm mainly just curious as to what jobs I should keep my eye out for once summer rolls around. Right now I'm trying to line up a job as a network monitor at a nearby school district, which would pay $15/hour, which would be hella nice.

Like you, I have a minimum wage job as a Photo Tech at CVS. I dont even work at the time being, actually, so I have no money rolling in. I just save and go without until I can afford what I want

bend tubing most days , this week im tearing out the floor panels on a 56' chevy Bel Air, THAT hasnt been much fun so far ...you would be surprised at HOW MUCH of the sand media from sandblasting a car stays inside even after you have spent 2 hours with a shop vac and air nozzles...

It's all about doing it yourself. For example my rear drum-to-disc swap and upgrade in rotors and pads only cost me 500-600 bucks because I did it myself. Otherwise work work work!!!

i feel your pain man, right now im loading up my savings account with my rather meager wage as a casher at a truck stop, almost 8 bucks an hour so i cant complain alot but it doesnt buy much. And soon ill be leaving that to make less but work near my school, then ill have 20k+ in student loans to repay. So ill be able to put a lump of coal up my butt and squeeze out a diamond soon [:-] LOL.
Eric.
