I heard that those are a lot better than the club, and there is less working space on the bottom for them to figure out a way to remove them.

looks like an interesting idea. it will work until theives will figure out how to get around it and then something new will have to come out.

No, you guys dont get it. The auto lok keeps the brake pedal from depressing. In an automatic car, you have to put the brake down to start it. They have ones available for a clutch on a manual too.

Oh yea, the club is 100% defective. You dont need an extra sttering wheel nor sockets. A hack saw will do.

I have never had to press the brake down on an automatic to start it.

Actually, on second thought my old civic would start without the brake in. But what you havent thought of is that you need to press the brake to get it in gear.

You don't have to press the brake to put an auto into gear. You can use the shift release on the right side of the shift lever. You can stick a key (i guess some other long object would also work) in there and put the car into gear, ive done it several times before. However, i would find it quite difficult to drive w/o the brake unless you are driving slow and using the e-brake.

However fro the sake of arguement some cars dont have a shift release. Obviously a civic is not well cut out for the autoloc but many others are.

You can get around the shift lock if you connect the wires for the brake switch together and make the electronics think the brake is bieng applied. The problem that i've always seen with stealing cars is getting it started and the steering locks.
