well i chose mk2 jetta cuz i was feelin vw's today cuz whenever i drive my friend's honda, i always get beat by all these vw's. Sorry to burst your guys' bubbles on honda's are kinda slow.... i mean vw's are FF's too but... there just so darn fast. I dont know why. That's why I'm thinking of getting a vw now...

hahaha just kidding... but +1 for a crx si or a 88-91 civic si. those are fast and they are soo light. actually, would an rx7 be suitable? those are fast too. but they might be a bit more pricey than the others.

 

yeah... but i know alot of people who think that honda's are really slow and "rice rockets" and say i should get a honda and i know alot of people drive vw's and would sell something to me or maybe a audi MAYBE though... and i would definatley get a rx-7 FD or somethin but if i were to get one i want it imported so i can feel like im in initial d or somethin and try driftin in my mom's work placees parking lot....

 

vws arnt really fast at all, and audis arnt bad, but parts are hard as **** to find parts for... especially old ones, vws are made more on.. "german engineering" and they can take a beating. they arnt the faster cars out there. well.. vw owns bugatti which makes the fastest production car in the world... but thats beside the point. the cheaper vws are slow, and u could get a faster car for what ur paying for the vw. actually, probably the best bang for ur buck is the ford mustang. its the only ford id ever drive. u can get an older stand 87-93 for 5ish grand and get about 230 horses. mustang would be the best bet lol and the gas mileage isnt that bad.

 

actually old vw's are hella fast... what i mean by old vw's i mean REALLY old like bugs, type 3's, and even busses... the only thing is there death traps and unreliable but can race anything like this one race i saw on pinks the honda wins cuz its got control but the bug basicly flew and hit the wall (thats the death trap part) but yeah my friends mk2 is actually hella fast cuz if you get performance upgrades if you have a VR6 engine, it will go hella fast and mk1's can go hella fast too if you got the right tunnings but maybe its cuz i know alot of vw enthusist that know everything

 

then get a vdub if hondas are slow, problem solved, lol

 

yeah thats what im probably gona do... and people will start respecting me and i will stop loosing to everyone and i will finally get somethin clean n' low (got that from a t shirt) and i wont have to drive my friend's honda in races and have that annoying fart-can sound and people calling me a rice-boy or having 13 year-old kids calling honda's a rice rocket and saying hondas are slower than shopping carts

 

dude it doesnt matter what you get honestly if you want speed you pay for it. i like honda because they have a very good foundation to work off of in my opinion and you can do anything with one. you could get a civic like the ones ive had (88-91 civic hatch) which are so light its not even funny and drop 5-7 k in it for a k20 and boost it a little bit and youll smoke all your friends vdubs for less than the price of one of them, not too mention aftermarket is insane with hondas compared to vw
