i had this thought while reading the latest issue of super street. why are there so many haters of civics? and i don't mean people who have domestics or euros, but people who have other imports. they treat us like we're at the rock bottom of the food chain. this kills me because in the sept. issue of super street they list a bunch of names that are synonomous w/ the import culture, and whom most began their careers tuning none other than our beloved civics. the creators of AEM, jackson racing, and jg engine dynamics just to name a few. in fact, i believe the civic is the foundation of this whole culture. but this is just my opinion

i have to honest with hcf... Before i bought my Honda, i HATED Honda period... mostly because of the impression i got from some of the owners around here where i live, all of them were rice heads, and i bought my Civic because of the fact that it looked cool, and i wanted to be one of the first's who broke the boundary and said i'm not a ricer and if you don't like it well **** you. but now that i own a Civic... i absolutely love it! the best purchase of a car i have ever made (i bought a peice of **** ford truck) i just love my Honda!... but like what mill said what can you do people have their opinions!

Im gonna be honest also. A lot of people hate Civic because half of them are ricer with bad taste. Such as loud exhaust that sound like crap, big park bench spoiler, ugly body kit that does nothing but cause air resistance, ugly graphic and pointless hood scoupe. Most of them but not all always goes around thinking that their tiny d series is the bomb and start revving up their piece of crap muffler.

1. They are just jelious 2. everyone already posted why people hate on civics. and 3. That is why i don't read Super Street. i stick to the more technical magazines, and the ones that you learn stuff in. like JTuner, SCC and Honda Tuning. those are the only three that i will buy.. i use to get Modified Mag, and a few others, but i found that they are all the same, and they just show off others people's rides. where as Jtuner and Honda Tuning only do that for a bit, the rest is News and Technical stuff, whereas SCC does tests on vehicles, and explains technical stuff.
Speaking of SCC has anyone gotten the Septembet isue yet? there are two EG's one has a K20A2 and the other has a B18C1. they are both sick as hell

I'm a latecomer (its not my fault, I'm in michigan) My first impression of hondas and 'rice' was The Fast and the Furious. When I saw that movie I remember thinking how stupid all that crap was. Then when I decided to give up my truck for a gas saver, I did a whole bunch of research and decided on a 96-98 honda civic hatchback because of cost, reliability, and utility. Once I got the car I started lurking around here because of various little problems. I was HOOKED! I still roll my eyes at ANY vehicle I see with more money put on the outside than on the inside, but these little gokarts rock [8D]
