My buddy has an EG hatch. Hes like "Yo my heat aint workin, i think the blower motor is shot, i gotta take it to the dealer."


I said "Nah just get 10 bucks and well go to pep boys"

He goes "Why? What we going to buy"







so i made him buy some prestone and i tossed it in his res. VOILA.........HEAT. There were 3 kids there i dont even know, and they were like "What the F? How did you know that?











well i someone here had that problem, and thats how sacs said to fix it..........(But thats not what i told the guys.shhhhhh) So thanks Sacs. You tha man. They now think the "Kid with the turbo coupe" is some sort of honda genious. Maybe next time i see em ill let em kno about HCF

haha, good story. I've used a lot of the knowledge I obtained here at the lots and stuff. People always seem suprised when the kid with the 90% stock civic knows more about their cars than they do.

it makes me laugh cuz 9 or 10 months ago i knew next to nothing about cars...and now when someone says something dumb about cars im just like 'no your wrong its like this and this and this' and everyone now thinks im some sort of car genious. sweeeet.

 

I got the same thing going on, i love this forum. But i am curious as to how the new coolant fixed the problem, i got a hunch.
