Hello I am a member over at sounddomain and have seen all the ish that happened.I would like to tell you guys I like your board and I myself am a civic owner so I'd like to contribute to the forum.I know that one new member out of all this is not worth the problem you guys have went through but either way I would like to say I'm not here to spam

Here are a couple pics of my civic,tell me what ya'll think.I am not decided on what I will do to the car next but either a B20(LS/Vtec) or a H22 are up on the list of what I'm thinking of doing but I'm also thinking of trading it in towards a STI or EVO next spring

 

Nice. I'm likin' the white-on-white. Now, down to business: DON'T do a CR-VTEC swap; you'll end up with nothing but trouble. In reality, you should save up for the Evo, but if you want to do a swap, stay away from frankenstein motors. Look into getting a GSR motor and boosting it, or a Type R and building it, or the H22 (but that's a bit trickier...)

sweet! youve helped me make a decision on the euro face plate and that front grill. Ive been planning on getting one but Im going to take the chrome rings off and spray the face black and then put the rings back on.

 

I dont know if I'll get a evo or sti or not,I do know that this time next year I will be in the mid to low 13's wheather it be with this car or another one.The white on white is soon to be gone,it looks different and is sweet when it is all cleaned up but damn I wash my car(mainly my rims) and a mile down the road it looks like complete poo again so I'm going to paint a set of steelies flat black and hand polish the lip.You may not think this will look good but smaller lighter rims,tire cost,and being really different is my goal.

It has a **** box D16Y7 in it now which is a fun lil engine to play with,I have taken my ps/ac off advanced the timing a lil bit,put on a dc 4-2-1 2 peice header and it has pulled damn near 3 seconds off the 1/4 mile time.My traps have not went up to much but I'm running what alot thought was not possable with this engine/body combo being I have nothing major done to it,my 60 foot times are pretty bad but i think they will go down a lil this season cause I'm gonna throw a 75 shot of nos on it for fun and I'm hoping I can get into the low to mid 15's with it as I'm running a consistant 16.3 now(I know it aint fast but hey ya gotta look at what I'm dealing with)

Either a H22 all motor or a boosted B18B will come shortly but I plan to try and hit 14's with the D16 before then

 

I wouldnt get a "mitsupeiceof****ti" (not knocking any fans). Ive known 5 people who had nothing but problems with their 1990-1997 mitsu's. Also apparently they are in big trouble business wise. Ive been told from numerous (very dependable sources) that if they do go out of business, the value of their cars will fall fast . -my opinion... dont shoot me

 

Props on your car. I love all the white. Very simple (not meant to be a put down), but it makes the car uniform and look very clean. In your quest to be different i'd say your doing very well. Thats the first white-on-white Civic i've seen. Of course there isn't to many ricers cruisin around Michigan. However, that doesn't take away from the originality of your idea or the car. Shoot, i can't even remember seeing an all white Civic in the tuner mags i get. Good luck in all you plan to do. Whether it be that car or another.

 

I dont know about all that... no matter what happens, an EVO will be in high demand and the value would probably skyrocket if the company stopped making them. But all that doesnt matter because you should go with an STi, haha

Boosted B16 = good idea.
