just stoping by to check in on the forum. im not going to be around for a few more days...between practicing, rehersing, concerts, recitals, lessons, teaching, and all this different crap with all my music..plus school and photography...i havnt been able to be on much.

tomorrowmy schoolswind ensemble is touring and going to two highschools on different sides of the state, then staying in the Radisson in grand rapids for the night. The next morning, we're playing at this huge highschool music confrence and basically anyone who's anyone in the music world is going to be there (highschool band directors, college profs...basically anyone who will count in getting into the music world). these are the best of the best highschool wind ensembles and symphonic bandsin the state. there are only six who got in this year...im in one of them. supposedly, college admission boards will go to these conventions, and after a band is done playing they'll pull aside the kids who stick out as the best players and ask them to apply to their colleges. I'm crossing my fingers.

anyway...I have the tour tomorrow, the confrence on friday, photography stuff saturday, and junior symphony on sunday...but monday i should start coming back as frequently as i used to.
