They also said that they couldn't stop it from growing. Unless the crab/lobster thing is still under water, they could just starve it to death when it gets big enough for them to do some experiments on.

WEell aparently the whole thing about it being an alien is FAULSE!!! my roomate didn't believe that it was real and then found THIS on the BBC website... damn those other people getting me excited that there is proof of extra terestrials[:'(]

What about it having no DNA? I can believe the rest of the stuff, even the stronger than titanium shell, but i'm having a hard time believing that it can function without DNA. Even a virus, which some scientists don't even believe is alive, has DNA (or RNA).

lol thats great..but actually they found running water on another plant that might indicate life since sopposidle "were thers water, theres life" ...now thats crazy
